Forklift trucks have been around for nearly 90 years.  Some of the first
Forklifts looked more like tractors with a platform attachment so they
quickly found a place moving equipment in the factory.  The design of the
Forklift evolved from a tractor with an attachment to a very dedicated
machine with a vertical lifting mast that we see today.  This change took
place in the 1920’s when manufacturers arrived and changed the world of
Forklift trucks.  World War II brought even more manufacturers into the
Forklift business. The US armed forces needed a more mobile method of moving
materials to the front line and thats where the forklift came in. Also a huge
need for the use of Wooden Pallets began as cargo was rapidly transported
from US Factories to foreign ports.  Forklifts have seen many extreme changes
over the past century and are heavily woven into our cargo management systems.

As a rule, although the slots are set to fit the same sized tool, most
people will use a smaller bit size when cutting on a CNC Router.
