The Superior F15
This aircraft can take off and land vertically. It is also called a “Rotary aircraft”, which means it can hover
and rotate in the air and can move sideways and backwards while aloft. It can fly by means of the thrust that is
created by the rotation of the blades of a main rotor that is mounted on the shaft above the body of the
aircraft. Helicopter flight was the first flight envisioned by man. In as early as the mid 1500’s the great
Italian Leonardo Da Vinci had used his amazing mind to make drawings of a machine we now call the Helicopter.
Helicopters had its first significant impact on military operations where they fielded air-mobile infantry units,
evacuated casualties, hauled artillery and ammunition, rescued downed aviators and served as grand-attack craft.
Even now they are not only used for military but they are used for transportation, construction, search and
rescue, firefighting, motion picture photography, food transports, electronic news gathering and by the police to
catch speeders. And, of course, the great Helicopter is used, most simply, for touring and for your personal
pleasure. You must add one of these flying metal giants to your collection today!
