The Hine’s Emerald Dragonfly

The Hine’s emerald dragonfly, Somatochlora hineana, is a rare and beautiful species distinguished by its bright emerald green eyes and metallic green body. Native to North America, it is particularly noted for its selective habitat in marshy, spring-fed areas and is often found near shallow, slow-moving water. This dragonfly has a slender abdomen and transparent wings that can span up to three inches across. The Hine’s emerald is not only striking in appearance but also plays a crucial role in the ecosystem as a predator of mosquitoes and other small insects. Unfortunately, it is an endangered species, facing threats from habitat loss and environmental degradation.

Example: 1/8″ uses 1/8″ Plywood…1/4″ uses 1/4″ Plywood, etc.
As a rule, although the slots are set to fit the same sized tool, most
people will use a smaller bit size when cutting.
